Joanne Brazeau Gallery |
Joanne Brazeau is a very
gifted artist who says she knew what she wanted to do as
early as 4 years old. She learned to draw recognizable
shapes and she learned different tricks along the way,
learning from every mistake, and then she learned if you
make a mistake, pretend you meant to do it and draw around
it so it fits in. Joanne says she drew funny caricatures of
teachers in school and sold them for 50 Cents for spending
money. She remembers going to the benched Seattle Dog Show
in the 1960s and is pretty sure she met some of the famous
Cole Mastiffs.
When she was 22 years old she received a grant from the
state of Washington to attend Clover Park Vocational Tech
for 2 years to study Illustration and Commercial Art. OEMTF
is so proud to be able to offer some of Joanne's wonderful
art to the Mastiff fanciers. Joanne is available to do
commission work and can be contacted at
moonstone@oregoncoast.com .
All of the prints from the Joanne Brazeau Gallery may be
purchased in our
OEMTF
Store.
