OEMTF does not make a practice of buying puppies primarily because OEMTF does not want to help create a market for puppies. This was an unusual and isolated buy. These nine puppies were 5 months old and needed to find good homes while they were still young and able to be sucessfully rehomed.
The smallest female puppy weighed 32 lbs by comparison to the fawn boy who was 60 lbs. One puppy had either an eye injury or a juvenile cataract, it has a cloud and the right eye reflects light oddly. Two females were suspected of having liver shunt problems. The litter was full of fleas and ticks. The FORM rescue group rehomed all of the puppies, each will be neutered/spayed and hopefully have long, spoiled lives ahead of them as loved pets.
